This policy covers isladesk.com, the Isladesk demo assistants and the WhatsApp assistants we run for businesses. The data controller is InferRoute SASU, 1 rue de Chazelles, 75017 Paris, France (see the legal notice). Contact: hola@isladesk.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, what you are interested in and your language. We use it only to contact you about Isladesk.
- Conversations with an assistant (on our website or on WhatsApp): the messages you send, your WhatsApp number and profile name, and any details you choose to give, such as your name, budget or dates.
- For businesses that connect their WhatsApp: the WhatsApp Business account and phone number identifiers and the access token Meta issues for them.
Why we use it
- To answer you, and to pass your request to the business you wrote to (for example an estate agent or a holiday-villa manager). That business decides what happens next and is responsible for its own use of your details.
- To review and improve the assistants' answers.
Legal bases: your request (pre-contractual steps), our contract with the business you contact, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform), when you write on WhatsApp.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and stores conversations.
- InferRoute's AI inference service, which generates the assistants' replies.
- Google (Google Workspace), where contact-form requests and our email are kept.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Demo conversations and their leads, tasks and alerts are deleted automatically after 30 days. Contact-form requests are kept while we are in touch with you and deleted within 12 months if nothing follows. For businesses we work for, conversations are kept as agreed with that business.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or ask for a copy, by writing to hola@isladesk.com. You can also complain to the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr) or the Spanish one (AEPD, aepd.es).
Deleting your data
To delete a conversation, email hola@isladesk.com with the phone number you wrote from. We delete it within 30 days and confirm.
